The bag filter is a special equipment whose purpose is to purify the polluted air. They are used for dry separation of dust particles or for extracting useful dust from air streams. The main component of the bag filter is the filtering sleeves, which needs to be replaced and is often worn out. The material of the sleeve is selected according to the conditions of use. The quality of materials and tailoring play an important role in the reliable operation of the sleeve, because in the working process, they have to undergo multiple regenerations, that is, affected by different vibration mechanisms, compressed air pulses and blowing. In order to ensure the reliability of these filters, the sleeves should have high process performance and pass strength, stability and durability tests.

The filter configuration has a fairly simple composition. It is composed of upper and lower parts. The lower part can be opened or closed, that is, with or without seam bottom. The upper part is open and usually includes fixing elements (springs, metal fastening rings and other sealing elements). The longitudinal seam is a connecting element that requires special attention. The seam is not one thread, but several threads, and the seam is 100% reliable. It bears a greater load than filter cloth.

The filter bag is cylindrical or round, made of filter cloth or needle-punched fabric. The filter fabric must meet the requirements of industrial processes, chemical gas and dust characteristics, and factory technical characteristics.

Filter bag regeneration (cleaning) method:

Purge by reverse pushing air. There is a continuous low-pressure gas flow in the tank to remove the collected solids.

Mechanical shaking or vibration action used to remove dust.

Pulse regeneration-using compressed air under high pressure to remove solid particles. This cleaning method is used for sleeves with metal frames.
